About the Play
Dorfman wrote this psychological thriller in 1990. Originally written in Dorfman's native language, Spanish, and largely influenced by events in Chile and Argentina, the play is set in the 1990's and could be a beach house in any country which has suffered a totalitarian regime and is in the early days of democracy.
The director of this production has chosen not to specify an exact location and believes that the events which unfold could conceivably happen anywhere.
The play is not suitable for children and runs without an interval.
