A Carnew Welcome

This small mart town in South Wicklow

Warmly welcome your group and show.

The bunting is up, the flags are flying,

Excitement is building, there’s no denying.

With nine nights of seeing such different plays

And plenty of fringe events during the days

Whether young or old there will be plenty to do

Exhibitions, poetry, tea in Coollattin House too.

Take a stroll down the Main Street

Enjoy a pint, or have something to eat

Check out the Sheep at the Woolgreen

And the Stocks at Mill lane corner must be seen.

We hope you all enjoy your stay

And that it’s memorable in every way

We wish you luck, and all the best

And the Adjudicator will do the rest!
