Welcome to the South Wicklow Drama Festival website.

The 2026 South Wicklow Drama Festival takes place from Friday 13th – Saturday 21st March (excluding Thur 19th March) in St. Brigid’s Hall, Carnew.

We look forward to welcoming Paddy Farrelly as adjudicator of the festival. Paddy is a member of the Association of Drama Adjudicators (ADA). 

The 2026 Festival Launch will be held on Sunday 15th February at 7.30pm in Jim Byrne's, Carnew. We are delighted that Lar Duffy will officially launch the festival.

We are honoured that Deputy Malcolm Byrne will officially open the 2026 SWDF on Friday 13th March. 

We look forward to welcoming back our patrons, drama groups and friends to join us once again for what promises to be another memorable celebration of drama and performance.

Patron Tickets are great value at only €50 for 8 nights of entertainment or €20 for Students. Nightly tickets will cost €12 or €7 for students.
