For the next ten nights, the RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival transforms the town into a vibrant celebration of theatrical talent, storytelling, and community spirit. Drama lovers, adjudicators, and the finest amateur groups from across the country are set to gather for what promises to be another unforgettable festival at the Dean Crowe Theatre.
A heartfelt best of luck to Michael McGlone (Director), Doreen Holloway (Secretary), and the entire festival team as they expertly host the ADCI Open Finals and warmly welcome the drama community back to Athlone.
To the nine qualifying groups, may your hard work and passion shine through on stage - we’re cheering you on for your best performances yet.
And to adjudicator Walker Ewart, best wishes as you take on the rewarding challenge of selecting this year’s winners.

Bridge Drama are returning to Carnew with their multi-award winning production of ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’.
Due to its popularity, this production won the Audience Cup at our Drama Festival in March.
If you missed it, or loved it so much that you would like to see it again, come to St Brigid’s Hall, Carnew on Monday 12th May at 8pm.
Tickets are €12 and will be available at the door for this pre-All-Ireland performance.
